The benefits of day care include companionship, exercise, practical help and we also offer a wide range of activities to try. The aim of day care is to help those in our care remain stimulated, interested and as independent for as long as possible
If the person requiring care has capital below £23,250 they could be entitled to have their care fees met by their local authority. They would still be expected to contribute the majority of their income (pension and state benefits) towards the cost of their care. Each Local Authority has a standard amount that they will be prepared to pay towards someone’s care, so it is possible that a third-party top-up would be required if a care home is chosen that costs more than this.
Special rules apply if the person requiring care owns their own property and we would suggest that you seek specialist advice if this is the case.
Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 and the Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009.

The lounge is brightly decorated and elegantly furnished with modern seating accommodation and up to date audio equipment.
There is also a small separate sitting area for residents who wish to smoke which doesn’t inflict on others.
This really is a delightful communal space for everyone to enjoy and we encourage people to relax and enjoy a cuppa and some company.
We're delighted with the end result and invite you to come along for a coffee and a short tour if you are taking the difficult step of arranging residential care for a friend or loved one.
